In Apperio, you can update the properties of multiple matters at once using the bulk update functionality. For example, if you wanted to assign 30 matters into a particular folder, you can select the matters in bulk and apply the change all in one go.
How to update matters in bulk
To bulk update matters, navigate to the matters page from the Apperio side menu.
On the matters list, the check box allows you to select the matters you want to update.
Once matters have been selected, the edit button will appear on the matters list.
Select ‘edit’ to view the matter properties list where you can choose the properties you want to update. **You must select the properties you want to edit from the list first before you can make any changes to the matters**
You can select across multiple properties at the same time using the list, and set the new property value using the drop down menu.
Click Save Changes to make the update.
Selecting all matters on a page
The ‘Select All’ check box in the table allows you to select all the matters on the page. There is a maximum of 50 matters on a single page and once selected, you can update the matter properties for these matters all at once.
You are unable to select matters between multiple pages and if you do this, the matters previously selected will be unchecked. Matters can only be selected and updated one page at a time.
Unselecting Matters
To clear a set of selected matters, the ‘Select All’ box on the table can be clicked on twice (checked and unchecked). Using the filter drawer you can also select the ‘Clear Filters’ button to unselect all matters on the list.
