At the bottom of the matter page is a breakdown of phases and tasks. Phases performed on a matter represent the various stages of work done at a particular point in time, and this can be expanded into multiple tasks.
Phase and tasks are typically created by your law firms, however you can request these yourself as a business. Each phase and task is assigned its own code and thus, you are easily able to track the progress of your matter within Apperio.
Here you can view a top level breakdown of each phase against the rate, time recorded and total fees and disbursement.
Click on a phase to view the rate, time recorded and total disbursement distributed by fee earner. You can click on a fee earner name to view their individual time entries across fees and disbursements (the ledger).
