To add a new user select ‘Team’ from the Apperio side menu on the left.
Select ‘Add User’ on the top right of the page.
On the Add User page enter the new user’s first name, last name and email address.
The email domain will be the email address required to access Apperio. You will only be able to create users with an email address on the domain(s) you have approved with our support team, as we only allow new users from registered email addresses for security reasons. We can add additional email domains if you need them (e.g. acme.co.uk and acme.com).
If you would like the user to be able to access the ‘User Management’ page to create and manage other users toggle ‘Access to user management’ to green.
Confidential Matter Access
If you have access to confidential matters then you are able to assign confidential matter access to new users. You can give access to both user management and confidential matters, or you can create a user with access to confidential matters only.
To give users access to confidential matters toggle ‘Access to confidential matters’ to green.
Access to Folders
If you have folders set up in Apperio, you can assign the new user with folder access. You have the option to set the user up with access to all or only specific folders in Apperio.
To assign full folder access toggle ‘Access to all folders and matters’ to green and click 'Send Invitation'
To assign access to specific folders click on the ‘Add Folders’ button and select the folders you wish to assign access.
You can give access to subfolders only. To do this click into a top level folder and select the subfolder you wish to provide access.
Once folders have been assigned select ‘Add’. If you wish to delete access to a folder before creating the invitation click on the bin icon next to the folder name.
When you click ‘Send Invitation’ your user will be created and they will receive an email inviting them to log into Apperio and activate their account.
