Matter Access
Users can be given access to view and edit matters in two ways, folders and matter owners.
- Folders - if a user is given access to a folder, they can view and edit all matters within that folder
- Matter Owners - if a user is made the matter owner of a matter, they can view and edit that matter
Invoice Approval Permission
Invoice approval workflows are made of a number of approval steps. Users can be added to the approval group for that step giving them permission to approve invoices at that approval step.
To approve an invoice a user must:
- Have access to the matter the invoice is associated with
- Be in the approval group for the current step of the workflow
- Depending on your workflow configuration, they may also need to be the assigned approver. This is used when there are multiple people who meet the first two conditions but only one person is responsible for the approval.
Additional Permissions
- Manage Settings - Full access to the Settings page to manage user access and custom attributes
- Manage confidential matters - If confidential matters are enabled, this user can view all confidential matters and mark matters are confidential
- Approval flow super user - This user can approve invoices at any step in the approval flow
- Can view narratives - If narratives are hidden for your organisation, this user is able to view them
- Systems Admin - Can create API tokens and access the Apperio API
