Apperio now supports invoice attributes, allowing customers to capture custom invoice-specific information (e.g. Requestor, Vendor Code, PO number) directly from firms at the point of submission. This will not apply immediately to all firms and clients, but will be rolled out on a client-by-client basis.
What is the value of this feature?
Customer Value:
- Capture critical invoice data (e.g. PO number, requestor) without relying on manual uploads or follow-ups
- Enforce data completeness at submission by setting the fields as required on the invoice submission form
- Enables seamless integrations with AP systems whereby firms are submitting invoices to the AP system via a submission portal
Law Firm Value:
- Clearer submission requirements per client
- Fewer rejections and queries due to missing information
What firms will see
- A new “Additional details” section on the submission form displaying client-specific fields
- Required fields clearly marked ( * )
- Firms cannot submit an invoice until all required fields are completed
What businesses will see
- Invoice attributes visible on the invoice detail page
- Ability to edit attribute values after submission on the invoice page (accessible from invoice list and matter page)
These fields appear automatically when a firm selects a client during invoice submission. Note that the features will be configurable for each client, so the attributes you see on the above videos may be different to what you will find on the platform. Refer to the client-specific invoicing guide for details on invoice attributes configured for the client.
